Finit Solutions is helping clients find more and more ways to utilize FDM as more than just a tool for loading data into the Oracle Hyperion suite of products. One increasingly popular use of FDM is as a tool for validating and consolidating HR data. Some of the FDM-HR solutions that Finit helps clients implement include:

  • Processing hundreds of thousands of records of HR data, with up to 60 disparate dimensions (e.g. Employee Name, SSN, Salary, Title, Address, etc.)
  • Validating HR records to ensure that all fields match a set of predefined criteria (e.g. SSN number must be XX-XXX-XXXX, Salary must fall within a range based on Title, State Code must be valid, etc.)
  • Setting up automatic email alerts to users who have not submitted data within a certain number of hours of the deadline, as well as email alerts when the data does not pass the validation checks.
  • Scheduled consolidation, encryption, and FTP transfer of the HR data to the organization’s benefits provider at a specified time each week.
  • Designing custom FDM-HR reports, such as process monitors, error listings, critical changes in employee information, and agency transfers.
